Distribution Inquiries
zolmed.com

We take on selected medical device distributions, on clear terms.

The ZOLMED Group supplies hospitals and distributors in more than 50 markets through seven companies in seven countries. We work with selected manufacturers looking for an established route into hospitals and distributors across our markets. We act as distributor on our standard terms, published below. If they work for you, submit your proposal through the form. Proposals sent by email are not processed.

The Model

Clear on both sides

We do not finance manufacturers through stock purchases, and we do not promise a field force we don't have. What we bring is market access: customers, regulatory capability, and logistics — from day one.

What we provide

  • Access to an established network of hospitals, clinics and distributors across seven countries and 50+ markets
  • Regulatory market access where agreed: EU importation, Swiss representation, handling of product registrations
  • Warehousing and logistics infrastructure in NL, DE, PL and TR
  • Visibility through the ZOLMED Procurement Platform, customer portal and direct customer communication
  • Product placement within existing sales activities and email campaigns

What we do not commit to

  • No minimum purchase volumes, annual quantities or turnover guarantees
  • No dedicated field sales force for your product
  • No training or technical service organization
  • No marketing investment beyond existing channels, unless funded by the manufacturer
  • No role as EU Authorised Representative or Swiss Authorised Representative (CH-REP)

Standard Distribution Terms · Version 1.0 · August 2026

The terms we work on

These terms define the basis on which companies of the ZOLMED Group act as distributors for medical device manufacturers.

01

Contracting party

The distribution agreement is concluded with the ZOLMED group company responsible for the target market — not with ZOLMED International Holding B.V.

02

What we provide

Customer network access across seven countries and 50+ markets; regulatory market access where agreed; warehousing in NL, DE, PL and TR; visibility through our platforms; product placement within existing sales activities.

03

What we do not commit to

No minimum purchase volumes, annual quantities or turnover guarantees. No dedicated field sales force. No training or technical service organization. No marketing investment beyond existing channels, unless funded by the manufacturer.

04

Stock model

Flexible, agreed case by case: back-to-back ordering against customer orders, consignment stock, or a limited initial stock. No speculative stock purchases.

05

Exclusivity

Not granted by default. Territorial exclusivity is negotiable case by case and, where granted, tied to agreed performance thresholds.

06

Pricing

The manufacturer grants distributor pricing. Resale prices are set freely by the ZOLMED company.

07

Regulatory & documentation

The manufacturer provides complete technical documentation (CE/MDR status, IFU, certificates, declarations of conformity) and bears the cost of product registrations where required. ZOLMED companies act as importer and distributor only — not as EU Authorised Representative or Swiss Authorised Representative (CH-REP).

08

Product profile

We distribute products that are self-explanatory in clinical use. Training-intensive or service-intensive products are outside the scope of these standard terms and are assessed individually.

09

Term

Twelve-month initial term. Three months' written notice thereafter. No compensation upon termination.

10

Basis

This term sheet is non-binding and forms the basis for negotiation. These terms are the group standard: deviations require the prior approval of ZOLMED International Holding B.V. Definitive terms are set out in a distribution agreement with the respective ZOLMED company.
